    wanna be mods
I'd be game if it could tow the skid steer...gonna have to fill that need as well as likely needing a new commuter...but damn that sure looks great, it sure screams classic Americana, especially since the USA was coming off of our back to back world war championship when she was coming off the factory line!
I have the main logox hook tool, not the additional accessories. It's good for carrying softer/wetter rounds, but it's much much heavier than my fiskar hookaroon. If you want to tinker with either, let me know...we aren't far at all from one another/areas around RVA we frequent, etc.

Also on a side note, did the tranny pan drain and refill:
    • Just under 2qts drained(using a ml/qt measuring jug)
    • Filled 2.5qts
    • Doing the check valve plug between 95-110F drained approximately 0.25qts...= I was quarter quart low on WS ATF
Happy and Safe New Year to you all!!

Happy New Years everyone! Hope you all were able to stay awake until midnight lol

Do any of you guys have experience replacing a VTC actuator (the intake camshaft gear that's driven by the timing chain)? I replaced the one in my son's 2011 accord (2.4L engine) and now it just turns over but won't start. If any of you guys are familiar with this, would appreciate if you could give me a call or DM me. The timing is slightly off between the crankshaft pulley and camshaft gears, but it was like that before we took it apart, but still wondering if the timing is the culprit. There are a couple other nuances about the VTC actuator I'd like to ask someone about regarding how you lock the VTC actuator.

Edit: I checked with my OBDII scanner and there are no posted or pending CEL codes. Battery is fully charged and I'm getting fuel and spark.

I figured it was Chrisfix, so it would be complete. Anyway, since you have fuel and spark, I would wager a sensor is giving you problems. Like a camshaft position sensor. Make sure you got everything plugged back in. I've done that before. Damn sure I got all the crap plugged back, looked over the engine multiple times and realized there was a sneaky plug that I missed. The timing SHOULDN'T be an issue. I would think it would still start, but have no power if it was too bad. These are just a few of my uninformed suggestions.

Appreciate the suggestions. Haven't notice any unplugged sensors or anything like that but will definitely check again. I didn't have to unplug anything other than the spark plug coils, pretty easy to get the valve cover off on this engine.

I’ve never messed with this new stuff. Did you disconnect any vacuum/EVAP lines up top?

I watched the vid., Then found a write up about the procedure. The write up added info incase the VTC gets locked before install, then gave info how to unlock it. That required cam removal.

here is the link. Think about what you did during install and look at #24 and go from there if you think that it might have lock up before hand.

    Wishin you luck.

Thanks for the recommendation. We stopped at Fireworks Now right across the border. Another shopper asked if we had a big party planned.. Tiffany said “No, we just like fireworks” haha.

We accidentally locked it before torquing down the bolt but figured out a way to unlock it without removing the camshaft that involved cardboard, light gauge sheetmetal, an angle grinder and compressed air lol

I haven’t started working on anything yet. I am super unmotivated as of late. I miss being on sabbatical
