I've never had one on a truck. I had read on here before my truck arrived how great a product is but I was sceptical. Turns out the beds on these trucks are made from the most slippery substance known to man. I ordered a mat immediately after putting the first thing loose in my bed.

Fact! Now that I’ve had my second cup of coffee, I’m questioning my need to contribute. Nonetheless, I’m content with my bed mat. :)

Same here...labor day sale..freeship code. Bought 2 by accident. Decided to keep the 2nd and use it along with horse stall mats as a deadlift platform. :D
I keep a milk crate on either side by the tailgate and a big tote up by the cab and they dont move whatsoever. Absolute must have for our Tacomas.

I would agree and love it on my 2018. I would say too that really any decent bed mat is better than nothing. I had a 2016 without a mat and I had to strap everything in the bed since the OEM liner is so slippery haha

Do not underestimate the importance that a small piece of rubber has played for so
    many over the years.

Add a few drops of rain…negative friction.

Stock (99.999%) OEM Bed Floor Mat, Front Bed Rail Cargo Net and hooks, Auto-Dim mirror w/Compass and outside Temperature display, TRD Pro Grille, Uni-Filter air pump modification, WeatherTech floor liners f/r. (winter) OEM All-Weather floor mats (summer).
The OEM bed was the first thing I added to my truck. I found one at a dealer in Colorado during a periodic free shipping event (parts.toyota.com with orders over $75) selling it on-sale for around $75. It's well worth the money just to stop everything from sliding around and crashing back there. The frozen snow and ice that collects in the front of the bed under the rear window doesn't even slide around.

I have had it in the bed now for about 18 months (two summers and 1.5 winters) and it still looks new and doesn't collect dust. If I ever needed another one, I would have no problem paying list for it. (+- $150)

Every stone quarry in the world is looking to dispose of used conveyor belting for free. This is not the grocery store variety you drop your six-pack on. Standard width is 48 inches and will survive any torture a Tacoma owner might through at it. Have had mine for over 200,000 miles in two different trucks.

FWIW, Fowler Toyota does free shipping on orders over $75 (with code in banner). I ordered my mat and several other things through them... was a good experience.

Leveled with Bilstein 5100 shocks, Kumho AT52 265/75 tires, Redline hood struts, R4T tailgate lock, Matt Gecko LED strips in bed and under hood, WeatherTech hood guard, OEM bed mat, Husky floor mats, Carhart seat covers, Grille replacement with Toyota letters, Sony AX6000 replacement head unit, OTT lite/mild tune, and an occasional splash of fuel additive.
I bought the Toyota version a month or so ago. Shipped from a dealership in NE paid about $92 on sale. Over a few days of searching was able to find a pretty good deal. I actually went to the local dealership first and tried to barter with them and could not get them to budge on pricing. I find that interesting that regional dealerships appear to band together and hold the line on their accessories, so going to a dealership in the NE or SE seemed best option. These guys probably sell mats by the hundreds.

My dealer gives a 5% discount on parts if you bought your Toyota there and another 5% for veterans. No shipping costs.

I'd look on Craigslist. Someone's always selling tacoma parts on there. Got a truxedo cover on there for $125 like new. Guy was selling the mat too for $40 but I already had one.

Thank you for this! Glad I decided to check TW first before buying anywhere else. This place was the cheapest I've found today plus code FREESHIP to save on shipping for a brand new floor mat.
