    I had a problem removing the temporary VIN I received from the dealership, that I had put in "my toyota owners" via web, so I e-mailed Toyota HQ to ask them to remove it, but they saw the permanent VIN for the same vehicle and said I'm not supposed to add it before I sign the paperwork for the truck. I asked, "Well, why was it so easy for me to add it then?" LOL

    That's good info. Mine was built in Guanajuato and shipped to California via shipping vessel. For some reason, I thought it would come by rail like our RAV4 that was built in Canada!

    Getting lots of notifications of doors unlocked and open today.
    I'm assuming it's at the port getting a couple of adds and/or loaded.
    Dealership emailed today saying ETA has moved up to 1/9.

    I noticed that once the vehicle is at the port, the ETA window varies so much. Mine kept fluctuating every 12 hours.

    All three of our trucks are still showing Veracruz. My status hasn’t updated since it reached Veracruz on 12.6 and still shows a dealer arrival of 1.1-1.15 and we know that ain’t happening. Frustrating to say the least.

    I'm finally getting my Taco this Friday (Fort Collins, CO). Posting my timeline:

    Sept 9th - Put down deposit on a Pro (black or gray)
    Oct 21st - Got an allocation for a black one. Build date of 11/14, December delivery
    Nov 26th - Notified truck is on the way from Mexico
    Dec 8th - Got production VIN from dealer
    Dec 19th - Notified truck arrived in Denver by rail...first unlock door notification
    Jan 4th - Truck arrived at dealer. Zero movement or activity during that two week window....just kinda sat in Denver.

    Thanks @Rod03 for the updates during the wait!
