That's a horrible idea. What time?
We're going to have to make a special trail for Dave in the playground. Lot's of drifting corners, a straight away or two, and maybe the downhill starting ramp like Hot Wheels has.

How about one of those pull back to wind up starts? Use a winch to pull you back and let her go!

I've been trying to get my Dueler Revo 3's replaced on and off since may. No one can balance them. I just put the KO2's on and decided to take a break. Re-visited the issue again before Christmas. Tires are being pro-rated for replacement tomorrow morning. I should be getting street tires, although the KO2's are on sale. Thinking 265/75/17 (32.65"). But then I need five. But I should be getting street tires as this may become my daily. Pertinent thoughts?

If you just want a meaty looking AT that rides well, I really liked my Ridge Grapplers. Pretty sure that's the name. Nitro called them a hybrid tire.

Andy (brother in law) has ridge grapplers on his 4runner and they seem nice. He’s getting new tires and wants something better in mud, but you can’t expect much from an a/t in mud.

I would get KO2’s and drive them everywhere. In my opinion, they are a great do everything tire. I put them on anything that might see a dirt road at more than 35mph. We put them Shannon’s Mini and Pilot and she could do 100mph on the road and still drive through the pasture.

Kim and I just talked and he thought that I should just get another KO2 in the current size, move the KO2's to the aftermarket wheels and be done. Which has some appeal. I'd be saving some money and depending on the pro-rating, I may not have to pay cash out to put a KO2 on the spare. But I could also pull the trigger on five KO2's a size up, sell the old ones on the factory wheels with the spacers and get back to a single set of tires. And less garage clutter. Moving the KO2's to the after market wheels and getting the spare seems the best bang for the buck and the best convenience factor for me. We'll have to see what tomorrow morning brings before I can decide.

@crashdb - Costco doesn't have those in the current sale. And I like the KO2's. If I have to DD the truck, then I'll have to put up with the gas mileage. Filled the VW yesterday, 720 mile range and 48.2 coming in. That's hard to give up.

I was able to coax 21 mpg out of my KM3s on the way down to Uwharrie, and they're surprisingly quiet. I think you'll be fine on KO2s.

The KM3s have been great for me off road too. They got me up the steep hill on the new trail at Chris and Shannon's last time out.

I like the KM3’s as well. I also like the geolander’a as a more streetable MT

The KM3's are on sale at Costco. I think I might follow Kim's lead if I can do that. I can clean out the garage a bit and save a few bucks. Then when these KO2's are done, I can look at other options and maybe 33's. trying to be a little frugal as Gwen is only working contingent right now until she can find full time work. Her employer lost another contract, second in two years.

I love BFG. Usually my go to brand. Something to possibly save money: do you really need a matching spare? I just bought a used tire in the same size. You could keep what you got and send it. I mean, how often do you use your spare?

    Oh wait.....
