70 is top speed, but 55-65 is the sweet spot.

If there's any truth to this vid.......color me impressed. Reliability shouldn't be an issue with the new changes.

They have a rep of being "quirky". They moved the factory to Washington and have been updating the manufacturing/tolerances while keeping that old school look. 2014 they got fuel injection and have made improvements every year since, yet still kept it to where "field" repairs can be done. I love the fact one wheel will fit in all 3 spots. I'm gonna watch the 2023 models and see what people say. They drop a good bit when used.

Those were pest control trucks. They made it easier to get into the bed with those shells on them. There's a few running around here. Cool concept

Well I went ahead and got the valve cover gasket replaced. I’d have done it but still having 1 useful arm I opted to pay someone.

Original gasket 174k miles came off in what looked like a 100 pieces. Coils were still good. No codes

Ride home, huge increase in acceleration, lower rpm at 80+ and lower idle rpm.

Now I don’t wanna sell it and just get a bigger suv for Stephanie instead!

Haven’t taken it offroad it what seems like a year. There’s always “wants” - especially a larger truck. Test drove both GMC and Chevy full size (both with 3.0 baby duramax), loved them but couldn’t come to agreement on price. Have test drive both 22 (sr5)and 23(limited and platinum)Tundras, just can’t justify price.

Maybe I just need a 2023 Tacoma TRD Pro to mall crawl.
