What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

I figured it would take some time but damn those look good. I have an extra set of headlights and I might seriously try it. what shrouds did you go with?

 

Oil change and coolant flush. Way overdue.

I had a ton of fun doing mine, I'd love to do a d2s set, but the mini h1s require a lot less work.

Basically the mini h1 is more bolt on. Not really but really

 

I got a set just before the holidays and man, I should of gotten them years ago. They're awesome.

It was fun at times, it was stressful at times, but it was extremely time consuming. I'm not advising anyone not to, but just know, it's going to take way longer than you expected lol.

Install the Auxbeam controller and the seat heat control for both the driver side and passenger. This weekend i will finish with the wiring.

Used it to pick up a new to me snow blower and got it washed today. Turns out snow blowers are a heck of a lot better than shovels

 

Well worth the money to move large volumes of snow and not break your back.

 

I am assuming two things, one, it's gas powered, two, it's two stage. With those assumptions in mind, modify your impeller - add wipes.

 

Yup it’s a king ranch 8 hp I picked up for $175 today. How do you mean modify the impeller and add wipes?

 

There's always a gap between the impeller housing and the impeller blades. That gap can be huge or tiny bit is usually about half an inch. I used three ply trailer tires to make wipes for mine but you can find kits for like $20-30.

Bought and threw a shell on it

 

Don’t think I’ve seen somebody run a shell with fiberglass fenders, didn’t think you’d be able to mount it since the bedsides don’t like really line up with the camper. Truck looks mean!

 

yea they don’t lol
I need to make a spacer under the shell and on top of the bedsides to make it fit better and seal nicely
But I don’t think I’ll even take it off-roading
It bounces A lot on the road…I can only imagine out on dirt
