And even then, once you air your tires for proper road manners (psi) you'll most likely be ALOT lower.

I dont even know what psi I'd need to run the 37s on the landcruiser at for it to be comfortable.

I could actually do it, but the issue would be I'd essentially have zero travel. I'd have to extend the bump stops like 4 inches in the front and 5 in the back iirc if I didn't want to have to tub the back end.

The next issue is axle shafts. RCV will only warranty up to 40s. I dont know if that includes 40s lol

Looking forward to seeing the LC in person someday soon.
This would solve your clearance issue and I doubt they’d break any CV’s haha.

So I'm not wholly opposed, but I have 17x9 wheels. And I like the look of the wide tire. Would pizza cutters look alright on those? And being a sport without lockers, I think the extra foot print might be beneficial. Asking, because this is not my area of expertise. The first pic is the duelers, second is the KO2's.

The pizza cutters should work on 17×9s, but I'd double check. When you talk about footprint, the pizza cutters have great footprint.

I like thick tires when they’re not ripping fenders off. If MPG is a concern, I’d go with your initial plan or the skinnies.

So from what I can find on manufacturers website, 255's are only recommended out to 8.5 " widths. 265's it is.

What the manufacturers recommend for wheel width is difficult to follow. Most manufacturers recommend 10”+ wide wheels for 37’s, but very few individuals I’ve seen follow that recommendation. The 255’s narrower foot print is actually provides better traction in most conditions excluding sand. The thread on here about skinny tires explains it quite well.

There's a racing story I like to relate when the topic of skinny tires comes up. One year at Le Mans (I think), some MGs were part of the racers. Rain sets in and the MGs start giving the higher horsepower cars a run for their dollars. Turns out it was because the MGs had skinnier tires than the big boys and it gave them the edge in the wet weather.

Tire update. They pro-rated the four tires and left with a $275 bill for four new tires. After checking on the availability of sizes, I'm getting five 265/70/17 KO2's for about $550. (The 265/75/17 weren't available in their system.) I'll be putting these on the AR Baha's and then try to sell the old KO2's / wheels / spacers a set once I get the rest of the plasti-dip off. Looking at FB Marketplace, I should be able to recover the cost of the tires I'm buying (with some left over) with the money from the sale of the old set up. The plasti-dip did surprising well by the way. It started peeling about a month after the road trip out west, so I figure I got about 6000 miles out of a light coat. Tires should be in next week. Then I'll need to get them dirty.
