The look on her face and the fact that there's a back scratcher on the arm of the couch is priceless. She's like 'nothing to see here'.

howdy peeps! Hoping 2023 is a better year than last.

I'm going to the dealer on Saturday to check out this bad boy... not sure I'll pull the trigger on it but curious to see what the numbers look like if I were to finance it

I've been reading and watching reviews on them...my favorite quote is "jack of all trades, master of fun"

But yeah the temptation to be a hooligan will be strong with this one. I've wanted a supermoto forever and I'm on the Yolo mindset lately

The older Buell bikes were like that. I test rode a Ulysses when it first came out and on the route they sent us on we passed a golf course. All I wanted to do was go roost up the greens. That Husky would even get me in trouble yet at my age.....Be careful!

I bet that Buell was fun! I hear you though, not trying to get myself in trouble.

We shall see...still deciding if I want to spend that much and I'm sure I'll be insulted by the trade offer on my Bolt. Still considering a used DRZ400SM, but man it sounds like this Husky is an awesome bike that would be more versatile

My only fear with a brand such as Husky is dealer support. How close is one to where I live and how spread out are they if I plan on dong any serious riding. I dealt with that as a Buell owner back in the late 90's. Not every Harley dealership was Buell friendly and it sometimes bit me in the ass. One issue that seriously keeps me from looking at a Moto Guzzi.

There's a guy I see at the grocery store from time to time with an all black MT09 with hot pink wheels. Not gonna lie, the color combo works better than I thought.

That’s a good point. The dealer is only 10 miles from me but I haven’t searched the network at large.

Please don't let me discourage you from any dream bike, ever. Beyond warranty work my bikes never see a dealership and I buy most parts online. I can only cite my own personal experiences and those of close friends. There's a reason my buddy Chris still rides a Sportster in the Iron Butt Rally and it's a valid one. Any small town, anywhere in this country, someone will know how to work on the damned thing and likely have some parts for it.

I definitely appreciate the advice, helpful in making the decision. I also buy all my parts online and handle the bulk of maintenance, but never worked on a Husky. I haven't owned many bikes and they've all been from the Japanese big four.

Yup it's a 2022 701SM, the dealer has 3 of them. They also have a '23 model which I like the color scheme better, MSRP is an extra $500 but unchanged from the previous year otherwise
