Did you already do the plastic clip-on mods like angry eyes and stuff?

The previous (and 1st/original owner) of my 2nd gen did that. Then the engine blew a hole in the side and cost him 5 digits out of pocket because it "wasn't covered under powertrain warranty"… He now has a Tesla and a 1st gen DCSB like my old one.

ha! that will be a hard no. the "eyes" will stay the way they are.

 

Nawh didn’t even see that. Ive been wanting to overnight on the lake and fish all night for awhile but before i commit to the gear or rentals, id like to do it during the day first. Ideally in a hut with a heater

Huh ... I had never heard of SuperPacific until last Saturday when I saw this one from a TacomaWorld member in Longmont.

 

Oh dang, I didn’t know they got one as well. So there are four I know of now along the front range.

This is the second one I've gotten my hands on. It's got nice big channels for hiding wiring, but the doors and latches leave alot to be desired IMO. It's like a GFC that you can wire easily...

The thing I liked the most is the side doors. I like being able to load large objects like my hunting decoys from the side.

And like you said the channels made it so much easier to get everything wired and setup cleanly

Mine's just stickered on the side of my truck so I don't have to do that

 

They are nice and big for sure, they just flex so much and with the one latch handle I have trouble opening them consistently, and seems like you really have to slam them shut fully. Maybe these two just weren't adjusted properly?

EDIT: They were also both longbeds, so way big ass side doors.

 

Yeah the cables need to be adjusted from time to time so that you shouldn't have issues with opening. You are right, you do have to slam them kinda hard to shut them completely
