Don't understand your hesitation. Off-road is definitely better daily driver as well as for off road than a sport. Has a softer smoother ride for daily use and is also built for off road use. Way better and more standard equipment. Go for it before someone else does. You won't be sorry.

The major difference is the bed length between the sport and off-road (auto dc)

I do prefer a long bed too, I think it’s make the truck look balanced as in looks. Wifely likes the short bed.

It’s all in the eye of the beholder. Some don’t like the hood scoop and short box, I dig both.

It went up over $4,000. Looks like the used market just went up another 4K to match.

That’s what I said to my dealer. But it don’t think it’s that much. Now on Toyota.ca prices include freight pdi where they didn’t before

Depending on the model, it looks to be up 5-10%. Probably posturing to align with the 24 pricing due later this year so that the increase to the new model is within 5%. I suspect remaining 23 production will be limited as they shut down earlier to convert to the next gen build platform for the Tacoma.

I see that. The website is doing crazy things. It said $54,xxx and now it’s back to $52,xxx for sport and off road premium

The prices are up $2000 now on the website. Which is freight and pdi.

Website seems to be a mess. In Ontario it seems to be a big increase though … the Pro (auto) is up almost $3,000 out the door price. The MSRP is up, but they now have a “Dealer Fees (Maximum)” of $1,221.

Now showing $72,720.25 total (including Ontario taxes - 13%). Pretty sure it was about $70,xxx before. And that was already including the few hundred dollar increase in MSRP from 2022 to 2023.

Think Toyota is shooting themselves in the foot. Interest rates are almost double what it was a year ago and add in a whopper of a price increase.

Most dealers charge a doc fee on top of the dealer fees listed on Toyota.ca

True, but it was possible to find ones that don’t. Now it’s on Toyota.ca, pretty sure dealers will automatically add in that $1,221 on top of what they were trying to charge.

The price today is different from what it was yesterday, so messy, I think toyota ca is adjusting but having some problems going on.
