Good luck finding one during the winter, I always forget to pick one up during the summer.

Oddly enough there is a pool noodle manufacturing company just down the road from me.

We all know them. We all love them. I've never had a seat cover transform the feel of a seat before. But, I've never had a set coat this much either.
    Installed...
If I had more patience, I'd have ordered red stitching.

I'm thinking of stuffing a pool noddle in that gap at night when it snows and taking it out when I drive.

Edit: I didn't even see the other mention of pool noddles lol. Seems like that would be the cheapest and easiest solution

Im actually trying to think of a way that I can keep the noodle there. I lose 4 mpg because bestop decided that the top edge of the topper needs to be half a fucking mile from the cab....

You can see how big of a gap there is in this photo.

New battery day for my 2019 w/ 82k miles. Had to jump it several time the last couple days even after immediately taking it off of the charger. Costco battery was $80 cheaper than the auto part stores.

My Fas-Top soft topper has about a 2.5" gap at the top by the cab and then funnels down to about an inch at the bed.
You could get some pipe insulation from Home Depot to shove in there.
Here's what it looks like with a random piece I had laying around.

Got a 2023 OR grill to replace my cheap honeycomb grill.
I needed to move the TSS back up to the logo area because this summer I'm putting in a bumper with a bull bar that blocks the TSS where the Pro grill has it located.
Also as an added bonus it has the camera mount so when I finally get around to doing the Anytime Camera mod I will have a spot to mount the front camera.
Glad I went with the massive 9" lights behind the grill so even with most of the lights covered they still put out a blinding amount of light.
Can't wait for the summer to get them properly wired up and test them out off road (because using them on road would be illeagal, and I don't want to break any laws)

a number of things can make a connection go bad

contaminants in the connection, moisture, salt, road grit, non-galvanized/coated crimps, and also poorly-crimped wire.

I have a post with pictures of the grill removed in this thread, post #251676
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...3rd-gen-today.399305/page-12584#post-28231162

    The lights are:
    https://backwoodsadventuremods.com/products/pathfinder-9-prowlr-driving-light-white

Originally I was going to put Diode Dynamic ss5 behind the grill, but the Prowlr lights were on sale for half off and that's too good of a deal to pass up.

I cut my grill for my DD SSc3's
You can easily do a little trimming of the grill. I have a similar setup but use 4K DD SSc3 on a BAMF rack.

I can't bring myself to cut up a $200 grill lol, plus I kinda like the stealth look of my lights.

If you look at my other post, I spaced the BAMF bracket out 1.5" to bring the lights closer to the grill. I would bet if you are just running ss3 pods you could space it even closer than I did.
The 9" lights are really heavy and I don't want to push them to far forward because I worry the mounting points aren't strong enough to hold that much weight pushed out that far.
