Scared me when I pulled up the parking lot was packed. They just stocked the lake yesterday and the word was out but past the dam in the delayed harvest area it was all mine.

 

I even put up a picture of the sign I’m not mean!!

A smart fisherman never gives up the goods. Sign is from a different location. That’s what I would do.

Hope you feel better.

Cold weather and snow hit us in the desert. I made it alot farther than most but visibility was down to 10 ft at 8000 ft. I will post videos when I get home

That was today. I was scouting the north river this morning on the way out when my phone started working I searched places for a late lunch. When it came up I thought it sounded familiar!

 

And next time I come out there i expect you to take me to the rock and take my picture while I do my best Brad Pitt!!

Awsome. were you looking at North River in the valley or back in the mountains where it starts from the mountains to the west in NF,it goes through some rugged areas back toward Elkhorn Lake area,actually at the foothills of the Ramsey Draft Wilderness Area. where it flows out of the mountains? cant believe you find places that ive tromped all my life.dought you will have cell service back there.i go by that area on way to our hunt lease

 

I was behind the Elkhorn lake dam where the delayed harvest section is I walked at least a mile mile/and a half down in the woods and hit a few spots. I didn’t do any good but I will definitely fish it again. Next time I’ll take my other rod and euro nymph it though. It’s a little tight.
