    Has anything other than the game cancellation been confirmed yet? I know any extra teams would require NFLPA approval, among other things.

    Story on NFL.com gave all the reasonings, including that the Bengals and Bills winning percentage would be taken into account to determine seeding. I don’t know why any extra teams would be added, the game being canceled would not impact any teams not making it in.

    That's correct, but I'd have to assume the Bengals signed off on that outcome to not have to try to fit in another game that might not have gotten them the bye anyway.
