It's a Toyota V6 not some super high strung race engine. Run the cheapest Synthetic oil you can find. Keeping to your oil change intervals will do 500% more for the life and health of your engine than the difference between Walmart brand oil and the stuff that is $16 a bottle. The biggest thing you get with the $16 oil is the sign they put on the sides of racecars.

I did that with my gen 1 tundra every 100k miles using mobil1 5w30 synthetic. Their sheets indicated almost no wear over 200k miles, and that was with doing 15k mile oil changes. I sold the truck at 292k miles. Its still running with another owner today. I laugh at these guys changing their oil 3 times sooner, like they expect their trucks to outlive them.

I drove my 2012 to 200k with lazy 10-12k intervals of Walmart Supertec. I never did blackstone, but it burned maybe .25 qts over 10k miles.

Some of those oils have additives that will burn away in that kind of miles. I could remember using a mobil1 synthetic that advertised for fuel economy, or something to that effect, and after 15k miles i was down 1/2 a qt. It never happened when i used the regular mobil 1. My tundra 4.7 never burn't oil.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
If high moly levels is something Toyota wants then Redline High Performance would be a good choice.

I once saw a commercial where Duralube was added to a Corvette. Then they drained the oil out and drove all over the streets of San Francisco with no oil!!
Why aren't we all running this miracle of science?

And who remembers the Quaker State pack that came with a quart of Slick50?
That stuff was only second best to DuraLube.

SSO hybrid bumper, Warn winch, RCI skid trilogy, RRW sliders, everything in the cheap/free mods thread, and of course the frame recall work.
Whatever 0W20 is on sale at advanced auto. Is the best oil. No additives needed.

I use Costco branded oil and seafoam when I'm close to an oil change.

Walmart Supertech, Costco-Kirkland, and Amazon Basic are basically the same oils (very close in specs). They are all made by Warren Oil. Buy which ever is cheapest. Change your oil and filter every 5,000 miles and sleep easy at night. In the summer I run Supertech synthetic 5w30 with 16oz of LubeGard Biotech - I tow a lot in the summer. 0w20 in winter with a bottle of Moly EP!
