Nice! Thats def it. When I saw it, it was all race ready and louder than fuck. Wonder if same setup as in that vid. Couldn’t really hear it.

 

very few cars compete with the parkway king. I know of 2 out there. A TT aventador and a TT 1500 hp corvette.

I've seen a couple of 7 second street cars, but they're not dumb enough to street race like that

 

Never got the whole "roll racing" thing.

 

It’s for guys that wanna brag about how much horsepower they bought but not spent the time/effort/money to setup the rest of the car for real drag racing

 

Theres surprisingly alot lore than youd think in this area. East Coast Superchargers is finishing up my uncles corvette thats the TT 1500 hp car. The aventador was much more tame.

we do alot of the slip stream racing events at pocono.

 

roll racing is street racing drag racing is drag racing.

 

Never said it wasn't, just that I don't get going from a roll.

 

All the cars I've been around were built in the owners garage, I have mixed feelings about paying a shop to build a car for you

Haven’t met a driver 1000 hp + that built it themselves unless they owned a shop in a long time… i don’t know any run of the mill guys building fully forged LME 427 blocks in their garage. Don’t know anyone installing an alpha 9-12 package on a gtr in a garage either

lol. I’m sure. That thing is beast. He was w a black TR vette that day. Very fast, beat the bikes from a roll pretty easy but the gtr seemed on another level. Didn’t see them go together.

unless the roads prepped or the car is on drag slicks its not hooking. The road could be on fire its not going to take 1000+ hp… wouldn’t even hold 750 when the vette had just a blower on it.

 

Ah the good ol days of njbs are back again. Hunter talking about stuff someone else supposedly knows but him never dealing with personally.

 

Those are the people I've been around, a lot of them work for/with teams and know how to do everything for their own cars. One guy built a 7 second fox body convertible with a BBC and nitrous. Another guy wanted to TT the world and slapped turbos on every car he owned (but he kept melting pistons because he doesn't know how to tune a turbo car)

 

Corvettes have garbage suspension, like I said if you take the time to setup the whole car it will do it. If your uncle just wants to brag about his supercharger maybe he should stick to cars and coffee meets with his flag jacket and white new balances
