Following. I have the deluxe mattress in my tent and my wife still hates sleeping in there. Enough that I debating selling the RTT and just ground camp. Where she uses some 5-6” inflatable air mattress that I refuse to use.

You mean a deluxe mattress from the tent manufacturer?

Yep. Tepui. I think it’s memory foam as well? It’s been a while since I bought it.

Ahhh ok. I think I'm gonna give it a try when it's closer to wheeling season. Seems to have good reviews :notsure:

Pretty cheap too. Since it’s inflatable it would double stack with the mattress as well.

I really like using my RTT since it’s gives me a false sense of security from getting eaten by a bear. :anonymous:

I tried going back to ground tenting and it's just not the same lol. This is a test unit, and I've given it enough time and feedback to feel ok upgrading to a new mattress. Being a thicc dude it'd be nice to have more cushion than what it came with, even tho it's still not bad.

100% agree. I recently picked up a spring bar like tent. That thing takes me 30+ minutes to set up and I’m absolutely dead afterwards.

Only downside to the RTT is mid-night leaks. But still worth it.

Hmm, never had leaks in mine...maybe it's time to re-seal yours?

Ah sorry. I mean body leaks not tent leaks. However I haven’t tried resealing mine. Would make roads faster with no bathroom stops.

Annual check-in. Truck is still alive, but it’s been a constant state of maintenance lol. Just got the shocks rebuilt not too long ago by Outlander Motorsports in Martinez, CA. Super good folks there and they do great work. Next up is the steering rack, uniballs, and finally the stupid catalytic converters which seem to be going out smh.

In more fun news, I ordered a Front Runner Slimsport roof rack yesterday, so that will help more with bed space and secure mounting of things like gas and a rifle case for gear. Next project is gonna be a 60/40 rear seat delete to mount my fridge slide and open up room for gear. Also got a tailgate pad for an upcoming mountain bike purchase :D

Gonna be so much room for activities without these seats

Waddup Chapman! I'm really digging the Polygon offerings. I'm leaning towards the Siskiu T9 (link)

Resurrection time! Truck is basically back to normal again finally...replaced the steering rack and tie rods, redid the cam tab gussets and put some KP Offroad octagonal replacements in, tracked down a P0420 CEL gremlin that turned out to be low voltage to an O2 sensor (rather than replacing the cat converter), and (after all that) got a new fkn battery since the MF died when it got home.
