these motors can take the rev's so don't worry about shifting high when needed

sounds similar to when my truck was stock on 31's.

When I had a 3RZ I'd let it sing. Getting on the highway, 4000+ RPM, around town I dunno, 3000-3500. If you don't get near its peak output RPM it seems slow.

It ain't a 22R-E, DOHC is license to rev and it has a redline for a reason, anything under that is fair game anytime... They're not fragile

I will say that my latest oil analysis did show more wear in Al and Iron. I've been increasingly harder on the motor since there had been no change in oil samples, and I guess I found where the safe limit it is for my motor. That interval it spent a good bit more time on limiter and sustained high rpm heavy loads climbing large grades at high elevation. it was a 9k mile interval too so I'll go back to the standard 5k changes

I haven't done one recently but it is under the hood in the fusebox, super easy to get to.

I thought the horn relay was in the dash fuse box area. Good to know!

You're totally right it is on the back side of the relay panel in the dash. I was thinking of the headlight relay.

There is a Tacoma on Maui that has red bumpers silver doors green bed and black cab. I’d still rather that than the dually

It's appropriate that it has the 98-00 front end. I can't tell if that's a dually or just a super wide tire
