Made my exhaust an axle dump to fit this oversized spare

 

They were all individual

 

Rustoleum Metallic Champagne Bronze. I roughed the letters up with a scotchbrite pad and used Rustoleum self etching primer. Used their clear too. I tacked the letters onto a piece of cardboard with the screws they came with. Several light coats.

Oh, and it's a cheapie Amazon grille. Drove an hour to work with no radar faults this morning.

I was preparing new speakers. Mounting to bracket. Slipped and punctured a hole in the speaker.
I’m going through all the stages of grief and anger lol
On the bright side, the speakers are on sale.

 

Any down sides to doing this?

 

Not that I can think. Maybe others can chime in. I had an mbrp axle dump exhaust but had to take it off because it was so annoying.

 

If you get another exhaust you might have issues selling your hacked exhaust

 

Paid off the loan early on the Taco today. She's all mine.

 

RC roll up bed cover! Looks like it’s pretty good quality and should do great for me. Time will tell.

 

@baltimorebirds2 I wonder if that RC isn't the same cover as my Truxedo Lo Pro with a different label on it. That rear lip seal sure looks identical and the rest looks very similar.

I just installed my OEM Trd trail grill too!

 

Finally washed it, first wash in 8 weeks. Even wiped down the inside with a wet rag.

Has not snowed for a week now and the roads finally dried up. Washed my wifes RAV first in the driveway. Mine just pressure blasted at a local wash station, almost as good as a brush or mitt.

Feels good to have it clean. Now to go mountain snow off roading next week to muck it up again.

Oh, cleaned my MAF sensor. Has about 72K miles on it, and thought what the heck, gives me something to do.

 

Are the Toyota installed bed rails still usable with the cover installed? I like the look of that.
