    @dmurph1996 - FYI - I don't recommend supercharging the Gladiator... at all.

Worst vehicle I've ever owned and worst financial loss I've ever incurred. If you own a modern Jeep you desperately want that warranty. I'll never own another FCA product.

My co-worker sold his Rivian for +40k, got the 4xE Grand Cherokee.. right out of the gate the charging didn't work and they had to fix it. Initially blamed his home charging station and almost didn't cover it.. on day 1 even..

    Thanks guys!

Don't plan on it but good to know!

It was used but only 3k miles on there so factory warranty was still valid but I do believe i got the extended.

    $100k and its yours!

    Nope...good ol gasoline

I mean, who doesn't like explosions, loud bangs and lots of smoke?! Preferably not in your own personal vehicle.

Does anyone know how or who to complain to about E-470?
I hate them so much.... I've had my struggles with them over the years and avoid them like the plague. They seem to be a private entity with the force of government behind them but no oversight. Quite the racket.

Anyway, the latest with those assholes is that they are sending me two toll bills for a motorcycle that hasn't left the garage in over two years. I called when the first bill came, waited on hold for over an hour just to have some rude lady tell me the plate was misread and that they'd get rid of the bills. Now they keep sending them. My understanding (and experience) is that they start tacking on ridiculous late fees and can then prevent you from registering your vehicles. I don't have the time to keep sitting on hold waiting to talk to some jerk about a fraudulent bill that they're sending. I'd get it a little bit if this were my mistake but it's not. I did nothing and the mistake is 100% theirs but I'm going to have to pay for it.

Ok.... rant over. Just wondering if anyone knows about any kind of oversight of these turkeys that I could lodge a complaint with.

I got multiple bills for a car I sold. Plates are sitting in my garage.

I would have to call, they would review the photo, and realize it was a misread. After it happened multiple times I complained, they flagged that plate number so every time it would come up it would be reviewed. Haven't got a bill since.

I've heard this enough that I'm convinced they do it on purpose. If only 10% of the fraudulently billed just pay it, either because they're not paying attention or don't want to deal with the grief, these criminals stand to make a lot of money.
Who did you complain to? I can only find them to complain to and they are the problem.

Aside from the self destruct mod, there is a bunch of other useful Gladiator info in the build thread if interested:

I don't think it's on purpose, but I think they have a shitty automated system that no one is reviewing. And I bet a lot of people just pay it to make it go away.

I complained to them, which fixed the problem I was having. :notsure:

I had the same thing happen after I moved to AZ. Had a toll charge on my account and I didn’t live in CO anymore, or have a vehicle registered in CO. Called customer service and they dropped the charge as a mis-read plate. Didn’t wait on hold for more than a couple of minutes and the guy I talked to was friendly. I still have my account with ExpressToll (not sure why) and check it every month. Not saying I don’t agree with you on their business model, just stating my experience getting this rectified was pretty painless.

@teamhypoxia - If I were in your boots I would find the time to continue calling until this is settled. If you simply pay the fee now you are almost guarenteed to have to pay future fees for the same plate.

I too have dealt with the E-470 billing - they sent a bill to me for a temporary tag that had the same numbers as a previous temp tag I had on a 17 taco. Well, the good news was that the temp tag they captured belonged to a White bronco, of all the vehicles; right. I explained my temp tag was expired for a year and was for a Orange Tacoma. They took care of the issue and no money exchanged hands.

In theory the board of directors are public officials and should be accessable if you really need to be squeaky wheel.

    https://www.e-470.com/team/

It just seems there should be a middle ground between customer service and needing to go full Karen.

You could perhaps send one of their offices an email explaining the issue and maybe they could offer a solution?

Anyone of you ladies have a good reason I should keep my undercarriage braces from the 3rd gen after replacing with rci skids? The skids as well? Otherwise I sell?
