I have been pretty good to my local dealer. My salesman is a close friend in the past say 5 years I bet between myself my gf and my father we have bought or traded close to 20 cars trucks and suvs. Earlier this year she ordered a new 4 runner and they could never give us an update so I saw a nice one coming off a truck at the local Hyundai dealer so we snatched it up before they even put it on their lot. Shortly after that I ordered a new Tundra and same thing can't give me any updates so I bought my used pro Tacoma in Sept. Last week I bought my town cruiser an 18 Yaris off another dealer as mine doesn't keep any used cars on their lot and well there is no new cars on the lot either. And well I think I am going to let one of my friends take the Tundra when it comes in because I honestly don't think I like the look of them. Then I got thinking I would get a new Tacoma when they come out but I think I am gonna stay clear of it if it looks like what I feel like it will.

 

Come on Toyota- Release the photos already !

More so complaining about a fake photo

 

Bet I do, my 17 OR is at 253K and still going, don't want another truck that is high maintenance, this one has been very reliable so far. If you pay attention to the highlux video you will see its a 1.8 turbo. . If thats the top motor to replace the 3.5 v6 then I have bought my last toyota.

 

Only time will tell. This could all be wasted energy by a lot of people. There’s a high chance these new Toyota turbos are high mileage and high reliability and everyone is just complaining for no reason.

 

I'm just sayin I'm out on a 4banger turbo.

 

Listening closely to insiders, I’d guess the Tacoma is going to have at least the 2.4 TT from the 22 Lexus NX and looks close to the below pics.

 

I'll keep my 17 if thats what they offer with a 4 lunger. Yuck!

 

The red taco in the picture seems to be an ev!double yuck, look at the grill. I will be the last on earth to buy an eeeeeee vvveeeee, no thanks. I'll stick with good ol internal combustion x6.

I would be so dissapointed if they do that to the tacoma, the new tundras only look good in trd/limited in all black otherwise pretty much a hot mess and before the problems even started i knew they were gonna be unreliable.

 

No doubt Toyota will screw this up as the tree huggers control more and more. This whole climate change nonsense is WAY out of hand.

But, a hybrid Tacoma in the 30 mpg might not be bad at all... Assuming it does not look like butt

 

I do not like the recesses above the over-fenders on the Tundra. I am concerned this crappy design element will carry over to the Tacoma.
