lol, funny you say that, my daughter who is 7 has now started watching Star wars sets that are about to go out to retire, and if she sees them at the store asks if we buy them for later to resell, I've made some decent money in the past off of the star wars mini figure sized ships, that i keep in boxes for later. she saw one in the desk in my office and said "wait dad that one is about to retire you know, don't open it up."

Finished up the '69 Camaro tonight. Quite possibly my favorite as far as fit and finish. Simple details like the fuzzy dice and the door panels really made this model. Very solid build all the way through.
Or maybe it's because I love old school Camaro's. :p

Did you try Target? They are the only place I ever find minifig series anymore. Even if it’s rare.

my local target puts them at the checkout stands and you cant really go through and feel the bags. stupid.
walmart has them in the main toy aisle but they sell out fast so its rare i find them there
barnes and noble is my best bet - they leave the box behind the checkout counter but will let me have it to go through them one by one if i ask.
and there are a couple of mom and pop toy stores here but they jack up the price on the figs to $6 so i've stopped going there.

After doing the math with the current VIP points, I could order the Titanic and get $50.00 off, then with the accumulated points from that could also get $50.00 off on the Grand Piano on the next order...

How often does Lego change up the free gifts with purchases? Monthly or random?

so, I've purchased in the past whole cases of bagged minifigures from Amazon, and target in the past that was a weird look at the counter from that check-out person, gotten the complete series that I've wanted, given a few to my kids, and then resold them to my local bricks and minifigures, though I've also made phone calls to other shops and seen what they will offer me. but I've also held onto them until the next series have dropped and done a bit better making my cash back

Found the Skyline in the wild, didn't even think about it - just buy.

Was fun. A fair few stickers, but the overall build doesn't leave any doubt as to what it is. I like it.
