I have no skin in this game but, I doubt anyone here gives a fuck about your consumption habits in your truck. This thread isn't about you or for you, go find somewhere else to be an asshole.

Nope, I am considering buying one and came here for reviews and nonbiased opinions. I didn't come here to rip members constructively participating in the thread.
Although seeing douchebag posts like yours is a good reminder of why this site loses decent member contributions.
Hope you had a great Christmas and are blessed throughout the coming new year. Try and have a better day.

Really? This shit cracks me up... reading someone's irrational irritation over someone else drinking water in their own truck is quite comical.

My guess is hes just jealous cuz hes got an MT and they dont make one for MTs....
    Haters gotta hate.

Im not one to go out and get every mod. My truck is actually very close to stock, but Im seriously considering this just for the ease of use with the nalgene bottles. Sux throwing them on the floor or backseat all the time where they roll around and are just out of reach....I know...first world problems. :D

I installed the ZPrecision cupholder a few months ago and wanted to go on record here with my enthusiastic endorsement. Love this upgrade. Can fit a full size Nalgene or smaller bottles. Another benefit is my phone sits down in the cup holder with its case on now if I want to stash it there. I also will sometimes just grab my coffee mug when running out the door in the morning because I am too lazy to find and fill a travel mug. I know I am risking a spill, but the cupholder is so deep I can fit a regular coffee mug in there (with the center thing removed for the handle) and it sits level and secure. If I did hit a pothole and spilled my coffee it would probably all stay contained in the holder. As others have noted it is really well made and very easy to install. Toyota should buy the design from him and make it OEM!

    Im sold...just ordered.
I think that slight tilt forward so one can still get to the lower controls is a nice touch and shows just how much thought this guy put into making this product right.
    Impressive attention to detail.

All the positive reviews in this thread certainly helped too.....

Great idea, I question the price, but am a bit amazed someone has not 3D printed and shared one of these yet.
    Cheers

I mean, I have the CAD skills to draw something like this up, but if I paid myself at an hourly rate then this is way cheaper, even at the original $80 price point. Now it's on sale for $48.75 and I just ordered one, but would have bought it at the original price because my nalgene and those 32oz (actually now 28oz due to shrinkflation) Gatorades I buy for roadtrips never fit anywhere.

My original solution was one of those $20 large cupholder inserts that I bought shortly after buying the truck, and I'll tell you it's just another cheap plastic trinket from China. It marginally solved my problem, but would tend to pull out a lot after the first month, and the adhesive used for the rubber pads on the extensions has started failing less than a year into it's life. The rubber piece at the top also came a little unglued.

So, this looks like a superior solution, will likely have equivalent service life to the OEM part, and I look forward to joining those of you that are happy with this part. @Tacomacup, thank you for taking the entrepreneurial risk on this!

Just got it. Perfect fit, easy install. Fits my Nalgenes and Hydroflask nice and snug. Does exactly what it claims to do.
I find that theres a bit too much room for regular sized containers or cups, even with the little divider thing in there. They wobble a little too much for my liking, but thats what the other cupholders are for.
Im happy with it. Fixes an annoying problem.
But its still just a cupholder....:)
