Delayed response, but this came from a wholesaler so there’s no “brand” name. It’s just a 10 mil crawl space liner. Comes on 10x100ft rolls (1000 sq ft.) You can get thinner plastic like 4.5 or 6 mil, or up to 12 and 20 mil too. Just depends your needs and budget.

Also got a new washing machine outlet box put in. The original shutoff valves were seized open and couldn’t get them turned, so I cut those off and ran pex up to the new box. The old outlet was lower than the washer so I brought this one up even with it at 42” above the floor, which included extending the drain pipe up a little. New braided supply hoses were also in order, replacing the 20 year old rubber.

Part of my job is being an owners' representative on large commercial projects. The architects always prepare color boards and pick the colors day is a meeting I dread. (My input on color is I want blue data cables lol) On one project the color lady had a 2"x2" red color chip and said this is the color we're using for the outside contrast color. That color was going to cover a significant portion of the building and she made the choice with a color chip? My wife can't decide on a color even after painting the room with multiple pint samples.

Shuffled a few things around, got rid of a couple of gas cans. Got my Packout cart under the bottom shelf. And got two chargers mounted.

These guys are building a 5000 sqft rancher on one of the little 2 acre remote islands around the corner from where my current client build is . There is only water access to the island , no power , no roads and no vehicle access from the water so they are pouring their foundations by pumping right off the landing ramp of a barge . That makes them limited to not only the pump's reach , but they have to pour subject to high and low tides plus they are limited to approx 16 yards per pour due to length constraints of the barge (the batch truck has to pour into the hopper of the pump so they have to set up end to end) plus weight on the barge so they don't beach it while they are pouring

This is not the cheapest way to pour concrete lol

After 2 years of this media stand in my way I’m making progress on mounting the TV to the wall. Last night I located the studs & marked out the bolt locations for the TV mount. Then it was time to open up the wall for the 3 gang recessed box. The plan was to pull power from the existing outlet below…. But then I found out the powder room sewer drain goes right through this wall. I had assumed it went down into the garage below.

I could open up more of the wall and auger out the dividing stud to pull power as planned but the risk of nicking the ABS is too great. So what I’ll do is open up the other side of this wall in the powder room, behind the mirror where nobody will ever see my shitty drywall repair. That’ll let me pull power horizontally over through 2 studs to the 2 gang light switch. Then I’ll drop some HDMI lines straight down the wall to have hookups ready for future accessories.

Sewer line & vent. Best my Parkinson’s drawing can do haha.

Finished up the recessed box tonight. I’ll be replacing that bristle brush low voltage piece in the middle for a Quickport plate, but for now it’ll do. Outlet on the left is a surge protector for the TV & soundbar. Outlet on the right will be for cheaper shit, with USB for the Firestick.

Shoot, I feel good about letting my kids play in, color and put stickers all over the cardboard boxes we get and I think I’m being a good parent. I still haven’t given them the diy paint board in their room yet.

Guess they will get it in 2024.

I knew I saved those old drawers for a reason. That area never gets wet, but you never know. Also I saw the price of those leveling clips and wedges at Home Depot and about had a heart attack. Gonna try the cheapos off Amazon.
