    Yeah the drain hose from the valve to the waste water drain. Split right at the barb and just let it all run out. Bought new braided hose today because screw having that happen again. Is it overkill? Yes. There's no kill like overkill.

    Yep. Tomorrow my buddy is coming over to help fix gutters, reattach/seal some shingles that came loose, and spray foam some holes I've found. Also stop the old Honda from leaking oil/fluids of some kind on the floor. Maybe pull the old enduro bike in and start getting the parts list together to get that running next summer.

    I'd recommend (if you've not already) upgrading you washing machine supply lines to stainless steel braided.

    I can agree with that. Only thing that woke me up at 7 this morning was an alarm my wife forgot was set. Pretty sure the dog wasn't complaining about us being woken up though.
