My truck spends half a year in Maine, but in summer-like conditions. If the red squirrels figure out the latches I may install the weather guards.

 

I wanted to add a rack so decided to go with the same as the cab, its not level but I haven't had any issues with the occasional lumber or items from the hardware store......

 

Can anyone please tell me what bolt size fits these threaded inserts inside the cap on the roof? Thank you!

battery mounting box that I use to hold my Jackery 500 that provides my off grid power requirements for my ICECO VLPro75D fridge.

 

Mounted my recovery boards to roof inserts over the weekend.

Here are the mounts I used. I got very lucky with the spacing on the mounts and the spacing of the threaded inserts where I was able to get everything lined up pretty easily.

I'm always concerned about putting anything high up that could become a projectile in a crash and come through the back window. Your shovel and hatchet make me nervous.

I think 2 guys could but I wouldn't risk a dent or scratch.

 

I recall the cap weighing approx. 188 lbs for the EvoA. Three peeps you trust with your truck and a promise of free drinks usually makes this go better.

 

yes, but I strongly suggest 3 for maneuvering the cap. You don’t want to drag the gasket around the bed caps.
