Still waiting for this warm weather to get here so i can begin modding and swapping parts.

Both of my bushwackers in the front have suffered damage. luckily i got new fronts for free. Gonna trim them so it doesnt happen again.

Getting in parts to redo front suspension as well as possibly ordering my new drive shaft. I have been using a friends spare but i feel bad and want to get it back to him so im shopping for that expense.

Bought one. 2011. Planning a few simple mods. Better stereo, and some other small things, mostly cosmetic. I can't stand the silver on the dash around the HVAC controls and stereo.. Better headlights.. Officially back into the Tacoma club! So far I like it. Wish the seat was lower though.. may look into busting out my welding machine. Any suggestions? Engine is a bit ticky, but I'm used to a 2012 Camry V6, and the 04 Tacoma v6, so maybe it's me.. any and all! IMG_20230107_130132965.jpg

Finally got to install the TRD Sport headlights on the '07. These were an eBay score, both bnib oem for $120 (found the DS for $50 and a couple months later the PS for $70 :D). One thing I noticed is the PS is the "old" version so the turn signal/drl lens has some yellow tint while the DS is crystal clear.

While I was doing so I installed the Ultimate Headlight harness I got a few days ago from @mattys010, thanks again

Wasn't happy to find out my old battery spilled acid and ruined the paint on the tray but did a few layers of rust performer and will be dealing with that later :censored:

It was super easy, I took advantage and change rotors and pads with new hardware. Truck feels new again.

Nice grille. Looks familiar. Had same fogs in my 3rd gen. Need to polish my stock fog lense.

How much is the ultimate headlight harness.

I helped my son install an Atoto hu in his 2012 yesterday. He already attached the harness adapters so it only took 30 minutes total to swap. He used a Scosche dash kit and it is much better fit and finish than the Metra kit I used in my 2008. It only took 5 minutes to swap his clock. In my 2008 it was a royal pain removing the clock from the stock radio. I removed one of his 12v sockets for pulling the 2 usb cables thru like I did in mine.

Which ATOTO? I got the A6. I'm waiting on a few parts to come in for the install. I'm just going to knock out a bunch of things at once. I'm installing a front, and side cameras, an aux fuse fox, plus rewiring a few things that the PO wired.

Detailed the interior before installing new Kicker door speakers and an 8-inch Kicker Hideaway sub under the driver's seat. These new integrated amp/sub combo's are great. It's been 15 years since I had any sort of subwoofer in my vehicle.. glad to have that punchy double-kick sound back. :rockband:

Great option for those of you with big dogs to bust holes in subs in the back seat area.

haven't done it yet, but I'm going home to program new remotes, since mine seems to have cooked itself after my son dumped some water on my keys and the board has a weird burn on it now. though a part of me now also wants to order up one of those cool AJT key fobs. though I also don't want to spend the money on that either. Because what if the color i pick i dislike later

A6PF. Have had in my 2008 for nearly 7 months and I love it. His has the 6v stock rear camera in the mirror so we didn't change that. Mine had no camera so I added a 12v rear camera. My camera is wired thru the brake lights so I don't benefit from the anytime camera feature. I suggest, as I did, to solder and shrink wrap all the harness connections. Makes everything clean and trouble free. He just used butt connectors and elec tape. He is an electrician but I like solder better. The only issues that I have had, as mentioned in some reviews, is that once in a while it will reboot. In my truck this has been only with volume cranked up and in reverse with camera on. Has happened maybe 8-10 times. I don't lose any memory or settings when it happens. For the price and quality this is a very minor inconvenience. The 1st thing my son noticed was how loud the volume is. I have never had mine over 40 or 50% volume. At 50% with my heavy bass settings it feels like the door panels are going to blow off. It is indeed a thumper with front Kickers, tweeters and no sub. After 7 months I am still finding and exploring the features. My favorite feature is the phone hotspot wifi. I watch youtube concerts on mine all the time. Well I should say I "listen" to youtube concerts. My grandkid likes playing games on it while she is riding with me. I like how waze and the internet are at your fingertips. Another thing I like is my rear access cab stock speakers sound as good as my Kickers after making sound field adjustments. You can enhance bass on individual speakers. Haven't really used the android auto. Since I have siriusXM in one suv I stream that via the phone hotspot since no sat radio tuner in the A6. You should be happy with it.
