These two finally starting to tolerate one another, about 50% of the time. We don't have to crate him at night anymore to protect the cats so that's a big improvement

Huskies are like giant cats sometimes lol

 

That is actually very accurate, he listens about as well as a cat does lmao

 

Was reading that with Huskies they're considered great family dogs with small children because they can tolerate a lot of being bothered and kids hanging all over them, etc. They're almost always well tempered in most circumstances.

But they are usually not recommended for households with other small pets like cats, small dogs, hamsters rabbits etc. because they have a strong prey drive that can result in the smaller pet becoming an unintended meal.

So we're working on that part lol. He is getting better. He's never run at the cats like he wants to hurt them, it's more like he desperately wants to play. But I've seen him play with his stuffed dog toys and if he did that to a cat it would be dead in 2 seconds lol.

 

not only do they tolerate it I think they love the attention even if it should be annoying haha

I've buffed it and all I got were hairy palms and partial blindness.

Have you tried being dysphoric instead? helps cancel the urge when you end up feeling hungover instead of good because wrong brain chemicals and that
