    You said it yourself “half the parties involved did not agree with the decision”, if that cannot be changed then why bother? You just want the other half dissatisfied instead. The Bengals needed to win more before this became an issue rather than crying about lost opportunities to catch up. This isn’t baseball but even then this game didn’t even finish the first quarter let alone reach halftime so that justification doesn’t fly. If it happens in the second half then adjust the rules accordingly but this wasn’t there yet. Preference should always go to the teams that actually got the wins when they could rather than wins they might have gotten in some best possible future.

    Lol no you make a bad argument. Just because half were dissatisfied doesn’t mean that if the vote went the other way that the other half would also be dissatisfied. I’m speaking bills and bengals. Bengals didn’t want the game not played. Teams uninvolved got a vote on it and of course voted to not move anything because it’s easier for them. Doesn’t mean they would’ve been unhappy, they just went with easier.
