I looked at a few that had built in heat extractors, but I didn't feel like getting it painted. This was definitely the cheaper option. It was cheaper mainly because I got it right the first time and didn't need to buy another hood lol

But it wasn't perfectly good... there weren't any vents on it! :D

Installed a cheap tri-folding bed cover from Ebay and it turned out pretty well (Had a diamondback on a previous tacoma, but wanted to go a little more cost effective on this one). I made a shovel/axe mount, but had to rearrange things with the way this bed cover latches vs a diamondback. Good enough for a little security/weather protection for baseball gear and stuff. https://www.ebay.com/itm/144545484926

Looks nice! I've been on the fence about getting an inexpensive hard tri-fold cover and noticed a lot of them on Amazon of the same type as yours. Any pros/cons on the cover that you might want to share? How easy is it to remove/reinstall once you have the mounting points already installed? Thanks for including the eBay link!

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
@gr8-wrx I had soft tri-folds on my previous truck and my current truck and couldn't wait to get rid of them on both trucks. My Taco has the 6ft bed but the cover still took up a substantial portion of the bed when it was folded up and if it was the 5ft I'm sure it'd be even worse. Its usually not a problem but I had two instances with my old truck where I unexpectedly needed the entire bed and had to remove the trifold then jam it in the cab. I had a Tyger roll up on my last truck and it held up well.

Thanks! Pros - Cost, easy install, light weight, Cons - It will probably leak a little (I'm in socal though), and rear latches attach to the rail cap (but I may modify that). If I was going to keep the truck for an extended amount of time, I'd probably go diamond back or camper, but with the 4th gen coming out soon, I was on the fence, so now I'm going for a budget build. I'm happy with the cover and I couldn't find a cheaper tri-fold hard cover, so I'm pretty happy. As far as removing it, once you get the mounting points, it's easy ... a couple latches and a couple hand tightened knobs.

I think you need tires in the front... and maybe a alignment too.
