Well fellers, I impressed myself.

I had a big ham bone leftover and made my first ever from scratch soup. I sort of followed 2 recipes and used measuring spoons so it was less heavy handed that usual.

I will probably be eating it until Wednesday...

I don't need that much damn money, really. If I could net $150,000-$200,000 I'd pay off the vehicles and do some home improvement. Any more and it gets a little stupid IMO...

 

i'd keep about 12 million so i could retire and live(very well) off the interest

I can agree but 500 acres is not all that much land if your farming to look at.

The only farming I do is a tomato in a pail on the porch.
I just want a buffer between me and the rest of the world.
Out growing a building that size in the time I have left seems doubtful.

 

Pretty much, why I’d give to family if I can. Only a few years from retirement from 1st job.

 

If You look at 500 acres of fields without knowing the real size you would never think it is 500 acres.

500 acres of woods looks huge.

 

You property gonna be labeled as a "brown field".

All them unexplained gasses are gonna result in the property ending up in a "special use" category.

 

It's only 10% less than owning a complete square mile.

 

You gonna at least pave the driveway instead of having that dirt lane like you got now?
