    Ditto. Selling the GX would have meant getting into either a 4Runner, early 200 series, or earlier 460. Figured the fewer headaches the better, life is already too complicated with a 6 month old, a day job, a side gig, MBA classes, and life.....

    I broke down today. Bought a 'real' OBD scanner. Need something better than my $30 code reader/clearer.
    upgraded to 2-way conversations, upgraded to wireless, upgraded to free 3 years updates, upgraded to the low end of professional. upgraded to include hybrid codes & key programming.
    Paid what I've paid for rent. Hate current inflation pricing, but 1 trip to the dealer covers 1/2 the price. So expensive it ships signature required.
    Figured if I can make the Pius roadworthy with this scan tool it'll pay for itself 3-5x & it should work on any future vehicles.

    Freshly washed yesterday. Had to take a couple pics after returning from a hike up to castle craig in Meriden today. Could see Long Island across the Sound from New Haven and beyond Sleeping Giant in Hamden. Should have gotten a pic of the view.


    Not bad for a 14 year old truck with 239,000 miles.

    Good morning CT. Happy Monday.
    Picked up the rest of the parts for the brake job on Saturday (W springs and retaining clips for the pins).
    Hope to do the brake job today after work.

    I also got a price on OEM drums, shoes and seals for the rear axle (L/R axle seal is leaking).

    Yes, no? Is anybody using PowerStop rear brakes? Just saw that they are cheaper on RockAuto.

    I think it was close to $275 for all the parts including seals. My parts department gets the same price I do. They know me at the local Toyota dealer.
