So, as I've mentioned I've been gathering up a more comprehensive tool set and organization for said tools. I figured this will be a lifelong hobby turned passion, so might as well dive in.

Finally got my toolbox in today and have started playing around with configuration - it'll be good to put these things and more to use very soon. I thought some of you may appreciate this:

Sockets/bits are all Tekton, ratchets/extensions are Koken, and pliers/picks are NWS with Sonic foam/branding.

There's something about a well organized tool drawer that makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Looks great!

I was in Sheboygan today. My family did our Christmas at my brother's house.
Lots of venison in the yard.

That's nice. Way better than my work stuff. Of course, I have no shop space for anything even half this size lol.

We're all hoping the old guy retires so we gain a bay back and can get some breathing room

Looks great! I wish I could be that organized. I still have some tools on a cart from when I did my suspension upgrade. Had to use a couple yesterday for an oil change on the truck and they got put away afterwards. And I keep tripping on that damn sway bar I took off. :der:

Familiar with this... I have bad allergies to poultry and shellfish and a milder allergy to lentils (beans). My daughter has been vegetarian for about 2 years and eats a LOT of lentils for protein. I'd feel bad for my wife who does the majority of the cooking, but she actually enjoys cooking. She's damn good at it too. She's pretty great and I'm pretty lucky.

I've been meaning to find some time to post more of a review of the Ironman4x4 FCP so far, but I still feel like things are settling in, even after over 1000 miles on it. For one thing, my "Taco Lean" is a good inch now. I wonder if that might be less with the sway bar in place. I really haven't missed it otherwise. I can take a freeway exit loop at good speed and not really notice much more roll than I remember with it in, before the suspension upgrade. I really want to see how it's different off pavement.

One thing I have noticed (not sway bar related) is a "change" when I get over 65mph. Calling it a vibration would probably not be right, but it's more of a change in sound and feel. It may be that I need another alignment tweak. I got the lifetime alignment deal, so that is an option. One piece I didn't install that came with the suspension kit was a "driveline spacer kit." It's basically spacers and new bolts for the rear driveshaft mount. Put it in yesterday when I was under there doing an oil change. We'll see if it changes anything. Doesn't change the angle much.

People say the spacers are needed, not sure I understand why. The u-joints aren't even close to being maxxed out and unless I'm missing something, it shouldn't matter if one driveshaft is at one angle and the other at another.

Has to do with the angle that happens as the axle "wraps" under load. When you lift the truck, this angle changes and by lowering the carrier, it reduces the difference during that load when the pinion angle changes.

It helps. Also you have a long boi.... You'll always have *some* noise/vibes at 65+

The straighter the angle, the less wear, and thus less noise and vibration.

Not necessarily correct about a straighter angle. With a CV joint at the carrier bearing, it’s all about having the pinion at the correct angle relative to the face of the CV. Ideally pointed a couple degrees below the face of the CV at the carrier bearing so that with spring wrap under drive load, it points directly at the CV.

Oh there will be some mods all right
Sharing my good deed and most important life rule only to encourage others to also do good and to provide an example of there still being good in this world, no pat on the back is necessary.

I live by treat others how you would like to be treated, and as you know I've been trying to sell the tires that came on my Tacoma. Well, a guy contacted me asking about them saying he was really interested. I replied back to arrange a time to meet. He then cancelled and said we'd have to find a new date because his wife had an appointment. I replied back trying to arrange a new day and he went silent. I was about to chalk it up to another person flaking out when he replied that his wife's brain tumor got worse and due to rapidly changing circumstances surrounding that he would no longer be able to purchase them as he would be putting all his money towards temporary housing so he would have somewhere to stay while his wife recieved treatment in Minnesota. He thanked me for holding them as long as I did and said he didn't want me missing out on a sale and to sell them to someone else. I decided immediately that he could have them for free and I would hold them as long as necessary. Spread love people!

I'd like to throw some money towards mounting. Is there some way we can work this out?
