    From AlabamaWX

DRY AIR, SUNNY SKY: Look for sunshine in full supply across Alabama today… expect a high in the 50s over North Alabama, with 60s for the southern counties of the state. The weather stays dry tomorrow with highs in the 60s statewide. A few showers could show up Wednesday near the coast, but most places will remain rain-free with a mild afternoon… parts of South Alabama will see highs in the 70s.

THURSDAY: An approaching cold front will bring a band of showers and thunderstorms late Wednesday night into Thursday. A linear storm mode will probably be dominant… so damaging winds should be the main severe threat. Low-level flow is forecast to gradually veer to a more west-southwesterly component through the day, which should limit the tornado threat to occasional embedded circulations within the line. SPC has defined a severe weather threat for much of the state in their “Day 4” outlook. Rain amounts of 1/2 to 1 inch are expected.

FRIDAY AND THE WEEKEND: The weather turns sharply colder Friday with a mix of sun and clouds. A few snow flurries are possible during the morning hours over far North Alabama, but no impact or accumulation is expected. Temperatures won’t get out of the 40s across North Alabama. The weekend will feature sunny cool days and clear cold nights… temperatures will be below freezing over the northern half of the state both Saturday and Sunday morning. Highs will be in the 50s and 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Monday will be another dry day; showers and storms return to the state during the mid-week time frame (Tuesday or Wednesday). Highs will be mostly in the 60s through the week… See the daily Weather Briefing video for maps, graphics, and more details.

ON THIS DATE IN 2006: With cold air sweeping in from the Himalayas, New Delhi reported frost for the first time in 70 years with a low temperature of 0.2°C (32.3°F). The cold prompted officials to order all schools to close for three days.

ON THIS DATE IN 2011: A winter storm moved into Alabama; snow fell over the northern third of the state, with freezing rain and ice across the central counties. Parts of the Tennessee Valley received 5-10 inches of snow.

NM, Got a bunch of shit done with the cars yesterday. Cleaned mine and Anna's car. Then finished repairing my core support on TACO. Drilled out my stripped skid plate bolt hole and stuck a grade 8 bolt through it. Also had a clunk in the suspension and found out it was coming from the control arm where it mounts to the double shear. Apparently it wasn't tight enough. Had to crank it down to almost 300ftlb before it stopped lol.

Any of you guys run the Napa axles? My driver side has started leaking grease and I figure I might as well replace both being that that have over 300K on them. I'm thinking about going with Napa ones that have a lifetime warranty and then buying the Toyota rebuild kit for the stockers to keep as spares. Thoughts?

If your just driving them around town and occasional dirt road/ kinda washout road. Maybe 600's type you'd be ok but id say stay away if anything harder then that lol. Ive seen complaints about the axle snapping in half with moderate off road use.

Last week of unemployment! Thank the Lord! I've got to get drug screened shortly over at an urgent care on South College. I hope there is nobody in there when I go but watch it be jam packed. I'll have to keep my distance from everyone. Buddy of mine had to do the same a few years back. He was fine when he had the drug test then two days later had the flu.

It's a wonder we don't stay sick as shit around here. Some of these assholes have no problem coughing right in your face. Some are just truly nasty as hell.
