What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

This was something I noticed going from and ‘02 to the ‘20, especially getting up to speed to merge onto the highway. When I did the KDMax tune this issue went away.

 

I like it. And I think I know how you can make that one million and two. When I look at this, all it is missing is a head, and it's like an aluminum wide-body "person" begging to hold the phone. So on the horizontal piece, you cut-out the head, and leave it in the same plane as the torso and then you have a cuter commercial product. Heh heh.

 

replaced the license plate cheap LED bulbs for a full LED light the ones that comes with the housing. i made sure i put a lot of dielectric grease in the connection and the rubber seal. don't want them to start failing like the other ones. no pics i was just to mad at how difficult is to take the bulbs out.

 

I have the same opinion. I went from an 08 Sport Tacoma to a 2021 Tacoma OR. I also did not notice the lag and gear hunting in the 08, I definitely noticed/felt it in the ‘21. I did get the ‘21 tuned which cured the gear hunting and throttle response.

I like that it looks like a little guy wanting to hug my phone but hadn't thought to make a head shape in there. I'll throw one on and cut it out later, just because!

I just received my Auxbeam unit. What tray are you using to mount the unit in the engine bay? Any problems/suggestions overall? Thanks

 

Any downsides to it? Things Hang to low etc

 

It's one of those things where, once you see it, you can't unsee it.

This tray does not allow much room to pop off the fuse box lid below. Also there have been reported issues of the edges fraying the wires at the master cylinder. I believe a new version has been made to address this. Regarding the Auxbeam unit itself, the only issue so far is I have trouble getting the lid to latch.

I don't know if I would bother to do it on my truck, but I really love this, and I love that you went to so much trouble for something so subtle. It's rare to see something this unique AND this subtle on this thread.

 

This is exactly what I want, where did you get the metal strips? Did you need to cut them or just drill and paint?

 

How do you like that tonneau cover, I'm thinking of getting that brand, are you happy with it?

 

Greatest thing i bought for the beach. Rinsing off the chairs, ourselves, etc. Used it after fishing as well to clean my hands. Its will be amazing for camping
