Awesome output shot of our driving beam pattern! Is the output shot our SS5 Sport or Pro power level?

If you were to swap out your SSC1 LED Pods for HitchMount C1R LED pods, you would require our Stage Series C1R 7-pin Dual-Output Trailer Wiring Harness.

However, if you're vehicle isn't equipped with a 7-pin connector. Our individual C1R HitchMount LED Pods do include a DT to bare wire leads for custom wiring.

    Stock-ish
Sport fogs/sport ss5s in that photo, a bit scattery from light reflecting off of everything but the driving is definitely my favorite!

Running the C1R + Brake HitchMount. Strobe function is amazing--the reverse light is very bright, well spread out, and doesn't interfere with the reverse camera--and the profile of the truck is filled out thus making it more visible. Easiest electrical install I've done yet--took five minutes.

My Diode Dynamics selective yellow Max fogs saved our bacon the other morning. I had to take my wife to the airport at 4:00 AM to catch a flight. It was dark (of course) and there was a decent amount of ground fog on our way. On a 35 MPH speed limit two lane road with no streetlights, we rounded a slight left-hand corner and both my wife and I spotted a buck about 25 yard off to the right side - right at the limit of the spread of the fogs. He was lit up pretty well though. I was going about 45 MPH and immediately started to slow down. The buck then bolted straight ahead so he was paralleling our path of travel. Then, without warning, he turned hard left and cut across our bow. I nailed the brakes and missed him by about 10 feet.

If it hadn't been for the DD max fogs, I very much doubt we would have seen him and that probably would have led to a direct hit. Yup, awesome lights! Thanks Paul!

Agreed. Just don't tell my wife how many pennies I've sent to Colton at Hotshot Offroad though. :D

Just got 4 SSC1 Pros from Colton for scene lighting to add on the side and rear of my SmartCap - Hope to build the harness and wire em up this weekend. Pic of my SSC2 Pros (digging the backlight) and SS3 Max Fogs I got during the DD Black Friday. So far stoked on DD’s lighting.

Wow! SSC1s on an RSI SmartCap will look great. Looking forward to seeing some installed pictures!

I finally got a decent output shot of my Diode Dynamics SS5 Pro Spot pattern LED pods. I ordered SS5 Pro selective yellow Fogs, then swapped to clear Spot lenses to get a nice, warm 4000k color. Even mounted behind the lower grill of my 2021 4Runner with one emitter pretty well blocked, these things are absolutely amazing! I should note that the SS5's are wired through a relay to come on with my high beams, but they totally blow away the high beams.

This shot was taken on a completely dark country road that falls away / turns right over 1/4 mile away. Over driving these bad boys would be pretty difficult.

^^ I wonder if that harness would also work for 2nd Gens. Been passively looking for a plug & play option for my Elite backlights in my 2nd Gen.

My ss3 pros in driving still impress me from time to time, but this is just absurd

For SS3 ditch lights, is everyone rollin' the combo beam pattern?

Also, anyone get the rock lights yet?

@Diode Dynamics any plans to release a backlight harness for the 2nd Gen trucks like the harness for the 3rd Gen? Picked up my Elites during the Labour Day Weekend sale and loving them so far!

I came here looking for the answer to this question as well.

I purchased the SS3 pro fogs with backlight and am about to install. I haven’t been able to find a video or photos of where I’m plugging the backlight plug and play harness in line.
