Afternoon guys, still hangin around zero today. Eggs....we'll eat them most ways but mostly fried and pickled. Dogs get all the rando ones we find when the chickens are about..
The lottery and property. Well i love to gamble but never got into lotto..ive played a few times but after watching my dad play and not win all my life the example was set. If i did play and win, i agree with those who would buy land....however im not sure i want the gov up my rear with all the taxes. Our little chunk(15 acres) doesnt run us but about a grand every year and thats mostly on account of the cabin. The house in oregon(½ acre) runs us about 3500 a year..
My great grandparents were cattle ranchers in Joseph oregon and i remember the acreage being somewhere around 40k....and another large amount(unknown) leased from the state for additional grazing.. i remember if u wanted to ride horses, it wouldnt be all pleasure as u were required to do a little cowboyin...riding the fence line checking for breaks and checking the water tanks. Wish id have been more into it...i could have taken over the ranch..

Surprisingly these dont bother me... about a year ago i started eating less processed sugar and my heartburn issues mostly went away.
One thing i cant figure out is why navy beans and ham give me wicked heartburn....sad cuz thats a favorite of mine. We've tried dumping the soak water, pressure cooking, not adding ham or ham hock...etc.
