Don't buy an EV then. Or phone, Laptop, toothbrush, battery powered tools...oh and here's a full list so you can rid your guilt...

"Cobalt (Co) is a metal used in numerous diverse commercial, industrial, and military applications, many of which are strategic and critical. On a global basis, the leading use of cobalt is in rechargeable battery electrodes. Superalloys, which are used to make parts for gas turbine engines, are another major use for cobalt. Cobalt is also used to make airbags in automobiles; catalysts for the petroleum and chemical industries; cemented carbides (also called hardmetals) and diamond tools; corrosion- and wear-resistant alloys; drying agents for paints, varnishes, and inks; dyes and pigments; ground coats for porcelain enamels; high-speed steels; magnetic recording media; magnets; and steel-belted radial tires."

Not going buy an EV, battery powered tools, or electric toothbrush thank you very much!
I do have a smartphone, flashlight and laptop that are built from slave labor, but I ain't proud of it.

Y'know I just learned about the atrocities involved in Cobalt mining, 95% of which comes from the Congo, and I AM going to do my best to not use products that have it in them.
You jumpin' on the EV bandwagon?
    What about you

First I'm not gonna use a giant space between my sentences. But I will do my best to help the environment. Keeping an ICE vehicle like you will is the opposite of your own righteousness.

I'm just curious to know why he puts large spaces between sentences. That's more scary than his hypocrisy.

Because the oil companies have never been known to exploit the world and leave behind a mess. Google the human rights/environmental catastrophe lawsuits for a well known US company (hint, starts with Che…..) in Equador, Congo. Or ground a tanker in Alaska, or have a ruptured pipe off of Huntington Beach, etc..

You buy what you want, you seem to be buying into lies as well.

You should probably avoid gas then since cobalt is used in the refining process.

EVs are going to lithium iron that doesn't use cobalt, Nicole, or manganese. I don't think gas is going away from cobalt anytime soon though.

The mining side is a bit tough to argue when there have been over 200 oil spills since 1980

The spacing could be a site glitch, one guy in my local BS thread has had the same issue. I know @tcBob was notified, not sure if fixed?
