H key, yes you need to cut. Push to start no cut. What's your question?

My question was if I had to cut or not. The paper guide isn't really informational.

You don't have to cut the TPMS if you don't want to, but if you don't you will not be able to use your fob to unlock the door when the truck is remote started. You'll have to use the key in the door. If you're willing to live with that, don't cut it.

(I'm about 95% sure on this)

I have push to start. No cutting. With H-key you are cutting wire so you can open door, without truck shutting off, insert keys turn to run. Push to start, truck shuts off as soon as you open door. Should be light green wire. Your best bet is call/email N2. Great customer service. Don't want to steer you wrong. That or someone with H-key will chime in.

i used this video. I just went down the wire loom where i had more room to cut it. My kick wiring panel looked like a mess so i didn't have much room close to the plug to cut and strip it.

His website is pretty clear cut on my push to start no cut install took maybe 30 minutes because I screwed up the sequence on the set button had to do it 3 times because I’m an idiot.

So you're saying I lose TPMS entirely to install this kit?

    You do not lose TPMS.
After you cut the TPMS it routes through a relay contact in the remote start.
It remains connected 99% of the time.
When the truck is remote started, it opens the TPMS circuit so that your key fob can unlock the door... For some reason, if the TPMS wire remains connected during the remote start cycle, the doors will not unlock from the fob.

When I had H-key, I cut the wire.
Won't be a big deal as long as you consider the following:
    1) Cut the right wire.
    2) Cut only one wire.
    3) Cut it in a spot that allows room to be stripped on the connector side.
    4) Don't pull the wire out of the connector while trying to strip it.
If you mess up, you can splice in a bit of wire by using 3 wago connectors instead of 2.

You do not loose TPMS, you will see that there seems to be a problem with the TPMS when you get in after it has remote started, but as soon as you step on the brake, it clears, and everything works just fine.

I know where your coming from, and your thinking. Scary cutting a wire on my truck, and just leaving it cut.
