I just spent 30 minutes catching Sea-trout and Ladyfish on literally every cast. I had to force myself to keep moving. I also had something bigger on a live Pinfish and lost it.

I'm not set up to harvest anything. But, I could have put together a good fish fry in the afternoon when I found a bunch of ~18" Seatrout off a small key on my way back in.

Seatrout are a popular food fish down here. We cooked some a few years ago. It's not my favorite, but not the worst fish I've eaten. Probably falls in the middle of the"fishy" scale.

 

I had a great day today! I paddled probably 7-8 miles total. I figured I'd share some pictures.
