    Oh there will be some mods all right
    Absolutely! I will let him know there are some good folks that want to pay for the tire mounting. It might be awhile before it can actually happen though with him living out of state for a bit. I will of course post screenshots and pictures for full transparency .

    This is awesome! And, it's exactly the kind of thing I expect from this group! :)

    I'd love to throw in some $ as well. Maybe gas money for the guy. @Larry Dangerfield maybe I could PayPal you?

    Oh yeah, PayPal would work great for anyone who donates. It'll probably be a bit before I'm ready for them. Getting in contact with him has been sporadic (understandably) plus the fact that he will be in Minnesota for a while so it could be a month before he is able to get the money and tires though I hope that's not the case. Also, emails for transparency:

    I'm making progress. 1.1 nautical miles to go, according to Navionics

    I do live in the aforementioned state and can happily make a trip over if it helps. Keep me in the loop.

    I just spent 30 minutes catching Sea-trout and Ladyfish on literally every cast. I had to force myself to keep moving. I also had something bigger on a live Pinfish and lost it. :annoyed:

    That's a good problem to have! Do you keep anything to eat or strictly catch and release?

    I'd throw'em back. I bet they taste pretty "fishy."

    That sounds scary lol. I'd rather go the simple and paperwork free route of PayPal. I will start a group PM once I'm able to contact him and get things arranged.

    I'm not set up to harvest anything. But, I could have put together a good fish fry in the afternoon when I found a bunch of ~18" Seatrout off a small key on my way back in.

    Seatrout are a popular food fish down here. We cooked some a few years ago. It's not my favorite, but not the worst fish I've eaten. Probably falls in the middle of the"fishy" scale.

    I had a great day today! I paddled probably 7-8 miles total. I figured I'd share some pictures.

    Best fish of the day, 30" Snook:

    Someone's boat that probably blew over from Sanibel or Captiva:

    And, another awesome sunset over Pine Island Sound:

    I'm exhausted. I'm about to go lay down. :pccoffee:

    @SRH , I'm safely back on land. :)

    Hell yeah! I'd be tired too, that's a lot of paddling.
