My light just came on for my 80K maintenance on my 2018. What are they going to do and what is the average price. Also should I take it to Toyota?
    Thanks

    Oh look, another mod....

    Maintenance Schedule for Toyota Tacoma
    Select Your Mileage
    80,000 Mile Service
    (Estimate: $242 - $274)
    Related Services & Repairs
    Tire Replacement
    Brake Pad Replacement
    Brake Pad/Rotor Change
    Cabin Filter Replacement

The 80,000 mile service is a minor service.

This service generally involves an oil and filter change, tire rotation, and a safety inspection. While changing the oil, the mechanic will be performing visual inspections of the brakes, belts and hoses, inspecting for any fluid leaks, listening for any abnormal noises, and paying attention to any irregularities in the operation of the vehicle.

Possible Repairs Needed at the 80,000 Mile Service
It's not uncommon on some vehicles to start seeing the wear and tear items like the Drive Belts and Hoses, Motor Mounts and Suspension Bushings starting to show signs of wear. Oil leaks may start to appear as well. Check out the Common Problems page for your vehicle so you can have some idea as to what the future may hold for you and your vehicle.

If you have the time and ability to do it yourself, then do it yourself. You'll save money.

Should not be anything special about 80k...
(This is assuming you changed air filter and spark plugs at 60k...)
