    Got a question maybe someone can answer. What psi is a good starting point for air bumps off the uca on the front. Now this is not the lower control arm and these numbers should be different since I’m at a different motion ratio. Just figure maybe someone in here can chime in. I’m starting at 60 psi but that feels a little low but we will see.

    Start higher than lower. Then back off the pressure after each outing once you see how much stroke you’re using. So I’d start 150 or 200.

    Finally listen the cab to take a closer look and replace the bushings. Luckily it only looks like one has started cracking. Passenger rear.

    Looks like my guess at camber was really close. It'll need some minor adjustments.

    The guess at ride height came out within a half an inch of where I wanted it. (I think I'll see how this feels for a minute before I decide if I want to go down from 650# to 600#... I'm even thinking maybe 550# now)

    Had to order different length limit straps. They should be here by the end of the week.

    But she's on all 4 wheels and drivable. :thumbsup:

    You driverside is likely cracking too, except it will be concentrated around the "hole" in the chassis, it will look like the "hole" wants to punch through the bottom of the chassis.

    If it isn't already cracking, it will at some point in the future.

    How many of you with SUA setups have parallel leaf springs?

    I’m redoing mine and since it didn’t come with any sort of instructions (which is fine since it’s an LT kit) so I pulled up some old install videos the owner made and he was talking about squaring up the springs and they were parallel on the truck he was building.

    Mine aren’t even close. Between the front and rear there is about 1.5 inches each side difference between the front and rear.

    Are most kits like this or did I do something wrong?

    They should be. The only real reason I could see them not would be if the frame is tweaked.
    Should be the same distance between the spring perches on the axle too.

    If theyre not, youre more prone to binding / breaking a leaf or bolt.

    This is similar to the results I got via google. Half said no half said yes. :rofl:

    I also read that it might provide a little more stability with them wider in the rear. I just got worried when the install vid said they should be parallel. But I think that was on a Ranger.

    My frame should be pretty straight. I know I messed up the original install, but nothing that would cause them to not be parallel.
