    The area of Northern CA where we moved from last August (El Dorado County) is under evacuation in many areas, one very close to our former house. Areas of south Sacramento are massively flooded.

    So...I had a weird pore on my nose looked at that occasionally opens up and becomes a 1/16" hole, and it turns out to be a basal cell carcinoma. Makes sense - my grandfather and dad both had to have stuff carved off their faces every couple of years. Only...no carving here.

    Chemo cream. It's a thing. I get to put an annoying cream on twice a day for a month, and it has a better than 90% success rate (higher expected for me because we caught this so early).

    Dad is pissed. "THERE'S A CREAM NOW?!?"

    In the last year ive had more stuff frozed,burned,and cut out of me than you would believe. i know people thats had to use the cream. good luck.oh,and the scars from the cutting itch like crazy long after theve healed.

    The cream burns a little and has made that spot turn very red...along with two others. I snapped a pic and sent it to the dermatologist who simply said "cool, two more."

    Dude could not be any less stressed about it. Says he is very confident about it all clearing up 100%.

    Wife was like "are you going to wear sunscreen NOW?!?"
