MESO X MORIMOTO Full LED Tail lights

Yeah having the same issues. I’ve had these tails since February of 2022 so I didn’t think I’d have any more condensation issues past the first few weeks of install. Only the driver side light is giving me trouble.

 

@MESO Happy new year! Any update as to the timeframe for when the limited V2.0 tail lights will be posted up for sale?
Looking to buy new tails ASAP but would rather hold out for the limiteds first.

Same... Def need that new brake light while signaling update. Don't wanna be rear ended while turning

 

the other taillight and your 3rd brake light still work

 

I've have a rack and rtt that are covering my third brake light. What if you need to have your hazards on while braking?

 

I use a VLED LP brake bar. It's pretty bright, not that I have a topper or rack interfering with my third brake light, but just wanted a bit more

 

I also have a bike rack that covers my license plate LOL! but that's actually pretty neat and simple. I'm sure there's plenty of background illumination also. I'll have to look into it, thanks!

Round 2 restock and fixes of Meso Tails & drop of the new limited 2.0s

 

Both taillight options are available, clear lens is not on his site b it from his vendors.

No updates on LE's. OP not active on here as much ~ September last year.

 

Clear lens with vendors has a known issue with mounting tabs, supposedly being fixed in q1 2023 product.
MESO not being here in a few few months is concerning…

He’s probably waiting for the updated lights to come onto shore.

Maybe he used his stash for warranty claims.

Without him being here for 6 months I doubt we will ever see the custom version of the lights.

 

He's active on his social media accounts, just not on here

 

They haven't been returning emails either.
The turn signals on mine stop working intermittently.
I have captured the failures on video but I can only send them links since the files are too big to email.
Been about two weeks since the last one. Still no response.
The next time, I'm putting the stock lights back on.

 

The tail lights seem to have really junk quality for costing $500-600. Sorta typical of Morimoto. The tail conversion kits IMO are a MUCH better buy and at this point not Meso, but VLEDS.

Honestly at this point, I see very little reason to buy Meso anything anymore. The puddle pods are the only product by them I kinda/sorta like at this point and I don’t even use mine anymore. It’s funny because when I bought my truck (hell, even a long time before), I absolutely wanted to deck it out in Meso stuff.

 

Same. My right turn signal would intermittently quit working. I finally pulled them and replaced with OEM and a stage 1 kit. These collabs were a bust.

 

Same here. No broken tabs, no condensation, no leaks, no issues at all actually. Still love my set.
