Wisconsin Tacomas and bad financial advice

I really wish I had recorded my tracks on Navionics. I'm just ballparking it. But, it's easily the most I've ever paddled in a day, aside from on the river. But, I have help from the current there.

This was one of the best days I've ever had on the kayak!

I'm just so glad I finally went and checked out those Islands! I have a habit of saying that I want to do this or that and never doing it. It's nice to follow through with something, and then to have it be a productive day is just a bonus.

 

Exactly this, never feel bad, we all live vicariously through your photos while toiling away at "work".

It's weird, though. There are sunken boats on normal years, too. There's definitely more than normal this year, though!

 

Could you tell if they had been there long?

 

Some we know are new because they're in spots we regularly visit every winter. Otherwise, I don't think I've seen any wrecks that looked like they were very old.

My dream is to live on a houseboat!!!! What do they do with the boats left behind like that?

 

Do you know where in MN? I get up through Rhinelander quite a bit and might be able to deliver depending on where in MN as I live in Eau Claire County.

 

I'm not sure. But, there's a salvage yard on Burnt Store road with a bunch of boats for auction with varying degrees of damage. I'm thinking it will end up in something like that.

I'll be dipping into the Milwaukee line of tools this year, likely towards Memorial Day sales, and I've been researching m12 vs m18 vs fuel. Anyone have suggestions or preferences on which line to go into? Specifically looking to start with the ratchets and compact impacts.
