They really are a great purchase, got a killer deal on mine with the built in hand pump and mount for the bed rail, brand new for $150. I just have to get those neoprene covers for it to reduce rattling. I’ve got a cordless makita pump I use to fill it (along with my tires). Will be a life saver in the summer for the beach with kids, and already use it a ton in the desert

That's why I went with the OTT tune so I could choose a level, I went with the mild which is the second step up and if I press ECT it puts me in medium which is great for highways but a little too touchy for me in parking lots and stop and go traffic.

Curious if you went galvanized steel or aluminum? I'm leaning towards aluminum even though its not as strong for rust reasons. I've been unable to find stainless.

    Stock. For now.
Thanks for the reply. I’m really hoping I can squeezr the wheel/tire setup I want underneath a wescott designs kit until I figure out what actual suspension system I want to go with. I’m not afraid of some trimming, bending, molding, or CMC as long as I don’t have to touch actual body panels. *fingers crossed

Thanks, it's the BRAVO from UpTop Overland. I also have the Cali Raised single light bar and it fits very well.

That's a great price. COSTCO online has the bumper hitch bundle with hand pump for $250. They have the other WaterPort sizes as well.

I need to stop browsing this thread because I think I just found my next purchase. This will come in handy after a beach day. Does the water heat up if you leave it out in the sun?

Yeah well i had to cut the inner part of the body panel but it’s in a part you can’t see unless you look under there. Then just painted all the cuts black so it’s more concealed

Not too much, but if its out there all day in the sun it will. I use it in the summer time on hot days to spray the kids at the summer camp down the street to keep them cool.

    actually I just remembered
There was a DIY where a guy made one for $50 to go on his roof rack
Which he added a schrader valve to. To pressurize to a certain PSI with a tire inflator to help spray water

I just used steel (12 gauge, I believe). It's under the bed cover and has a coat of rustoleum, so it should be ok on rust, but who knows. Aluminum should be fine as well and easier to play with.

Just FYI, there are similar throttle options with the KDMAX tune. Light, normal, and sport. I believe by "stock pedal" he meant he was dropping down to normal or light throttle option.

Did you have to get that bed rail mount from the waterport website as well?
