@Tour991, did you use your jackery yet? lost power this morning and its still out. Ended up pulling the GoalZero out of the truck and brought it inside to power the fridge, modem and small device charging. Damn nice having a backup.

Got to work and our IT storage room is flooded, fun stuff. Need to dry out my air filter after that ride to work the wakes of the front tires were so high.

Ventura county just north of us got 16" of rain in 24 hours, that's unheard of anywhere let alone here

another storm later this week apparently bringing up to 6"

I wonder if he's the same guy I follow on FB, says he covers Socal and AZ. Kind of a strange dude but his weather forecasts are crazy accurate even weeks/months in advance.

I only own a few pairs of shoes/boots that can handle close to this much moisture and they're all soaking wet now, even the waterproof ones (wore those last night when I was out walking the dog and the storm hit, was ankle deep in water crossing some of the streets)

sitting here at work with my shoes off and the floor heater on my socks, feels good man

sure did, about 3 weeks ago the power was out for about 24 hours. We used it to power my wife's work station. She used it all day for that and a few other thing and its still a 50% so nice to have. If the power is out to long I just put the food from the frig out on the deck on days like today.

The Santa Anita wash through Arcadia is super full right now, never seen it like this before. Have to walk a bridge over it to get to the dog park out here and it's moving at crazy speed, anyone caught in that thing would be a goner.
