The lathe I used left a smooth finish to but it left a little lip at the very outer edge of the rotor. This had to be hand finish. It was a design flaw. That was corrected on the newer model.

The bench lathe was quicker, and finish better. The portable lathe became a jacket stand.

    So. Many. Stickers.
Morning all! Yesterday was an absolute crap fest at the dealership. With so many people showing up for service without appointments and then throwing fits. We couldn't get to them fast enough. Then the kiddo wasn't feeling the greatest so I barely slept last night. Here's today number two this week. Oh, and we're still short staff. We've got a couple of guys out so... Rock and roll time

Did you ever had a rotor refuse to come off?

If so, How did you remove?

I've had that. There's a couple of threaded holes on rotors same for drums. Find a bolt that'll go in it and start tightening it down and it'll pop off
