Glad you caught it early. If it’s the same chemo cream I had to use it works well. It will give you what looks like the worst sunburn you’ve ever had. Gets all red, scaly, peeling, crusty looking- really bad. Doesn’t hurt, just looks like hell.

Next Monday I have an appointment to get a spot cut off my ear. I'm going to ask about this cream. What is this stuff called?

I don’t remember the name of the product, if you ask about chemo cream they will know what you mean.

Sorry to hear about your BIL’s brother. That’s tough. Losing two in the same family so close together.

Yes, just did this over the Christmas break for Actinic Keratosis (Pre-Cancerous Cells). I started applying the cream (Efudex) Dec 16th on my cheeks and nose for 2 weeks. Not FUN! Very little info given by my Dermatologist. I'm just going back to work tomorrow. I still look like shit. The pain and discomfort has finally subsided. Everyone has varying results. I really lit up due to the 28 years of grounds maintenance with little to no sun screen back then. I was being treated with Liquid Nitrogen for the last 10 years where they used to burn off the Actinic Keratosis. I'm beyond that now. Good Luck with your treatment.

    Found this somewhat helpful. https://skincancer.net/life-with-skin-cancer/tips-for-efudex-users
