Please don’t take this negativity, but; what do you intend to use this for?

I just want to charge 4 HO batteries at one time as slow as possible haha

I have a million reasons…I am a contractor, I have a small farm, and we run our tailgate rig on an old outdated dewalt power supply

I’m pretty much all battery right now but with this I basically never have to find an outlet to run extension to my van ever again

Oh there will be some mods all right
Just a heads up, I read that if you leave batteries on there when they are not plugged in and charging it will actually drain them.

Do I understand this correctly? $699 tool only? If so, holy fuck. Takes another $1k in batteries? Damn.

yeah pricing is not great, but already have batteries and tax write offs on tools, is what it is

i was thinking $700 sounds cheap! 1500w is more than enough for most things i need at work anymore, i'm almost entirely battery-powered as well.

The way I understand it, that's zero watts for $700 as it's tool only. Batteries cost extra...

correct, but no one is buying any brand of tool without already having batteries and tools in that brand.

the benefit here is to be able to use the batteries i already have in a different way. the other power supply options are similarly priced, but constrain me to other brands of battery tech that i can't easily use in other ways.

even if i need to buy extra batteries, i can use those batteries in other ways if i don't need the power supply. whereas if i got a egopower unit, the only thing it does is the power supply, and maybe a 12v output.

I get it. Guess I just don't have the need for that kind of power "off grid". Makes sense for folks that are using tools for long periods with high demand. I'm not a contractor with those needs, but I'd spend $700-$1000 on a Jackery (or other flavor). I'm 100% Milwaukee and have the batteries to fill this, but that's just my opinion...

    3” lift. Sway a ways 2.5 on 285 75 16 and much more
I pick one up too but it was a promotional item from Ohio power tools. Paid $699 received tool with 2 8.0 m18 batteries so I was a in no position to pass up this opportunity.
Another some what of a main reason I got into looking for this particular tool: During winter specifically, for some reason the place I live at is always loosing power. It could be an hour all the way up to 24hrs.
Having to keep the place warm for my family wasn't the main issue. What got us is the refrigerator and deep freezer. Having this thing around and avoiding perishables unfreeze and refreeze is a win. Plus I got a bunch of batteries that can be easily swapped out. and yes I could use a gas generator but living so close with neighbors its to load to run it out side especially at night.
