It was only after being $700 short on Escrow last year was I kicking myself in the butt for not doing it as soon as I moved in. Oh well, lesson learned

I did the same thing and my township Inspector stopped by and said the boulder was close to the road and made me move it. I didn't want to fight with him because I was applying for more permits to the house. Mine used to get hit at least once a month. Steel post hidden by pressure traded wood with about 3-4 bags of 60lb concrete did the trick. Hit the mailbox and you were doing some damage to your vehicle.

Went to see a doc today for my knee, twisted it a while back and has been hurting like hell. Made an appointment at Rothman with a doc I could get in and see. In comes this old dude, no I mean old dude. I’m like oh WTF. Looks at my X-rays and gave me the run down, got a Minimized Meniscus meaning it’s thinner then it should be to keep the bones from rubbing, some “fluff” as he calls it growing on it, the top and bottom bone are misaligned and a couple bone spurs. Don’t need a replacement now just be carful for a while and if it lingers get some cortisone shots, basically deal with it.
But…he sees the 223 on my key chain and asks, do you hunt? Ok, yeah why?
He says, I got three deer with a bow so far this year. Dude, man is 78 years old found out. So we sat and talked hunting, bows, which he hand made as a kid, muzzleloader, flint lock on and on.
78 and still kicking ass, who would have known. Suddenly my knee don’t feel so bad.
Good for him, shows you should never stop.
Just my two cents for the day

I got a similar diagnosis about 6 or 7 years ago. Arthritis wears down the meniscus and little can be done, certainly not surgery. I'm too young for a knee replacement. I have used Blue Emu and Theraworx. Both help some.

Thanks, may give them a try. Just hate thinking this is just something I have to live with but it may be.

I take that from time to time but i am worried about side effects if I take it near everyday. This damp, cold weather doesn't help.

Forget the cortisone, go for the lubricating shot. One I was getting before my second meniscus surgery was called Eflexxa. Expensive shot and usually needs to be preauthorized but it helps. Can only get one every six months.
